Covenant is an in-depth group Bible study that centers around our relationships with God, with each other, and with the world. It differs from other Bible studies in that it emphasizes the biblical concept of Covenant- the enduring commitment between God and people- as a unifying pattern throughout the entire Bible. As such, it underscores the unique relationship that God chooses with us as his people. Covenant Bible study crea tes a learning experience where scripture meets everyday experience- both within and beyond the sphere of church life. It builds trust in others as well as confidence in scripture. And it provides an exciting new opportunity to better understand God's call, his love, and his unexpected favor..

Nothing is more important in discipleship than Biblical knowledge! In the style of Disciple, Kerygma and Animate, COVENANT is an exciting new introduction to the Bible. Outstanding scholars bring the Bible to life with wonderful DVD presentations, daily reading and insights, and engaging small group sessions.
Focussed on God’s covenant with people, these studies take a thematic approach which draws on the Hebrew Scriptures and New Testament together as each topic is explored.

Three, eight week series guide participants through:

Creating the Covenant:

How the covenant community is established as a foundation of Christian faith and laying out the framework for a life lived in harmony with God and others.

Living the Covenant:

Focusing on the challenges leaders in the Biblical story, such as judges, kings and prophets faced, we see how Israel’s sages and New Testament leaders like Paul embraced practical wisdom to live faithfully.

Trusting the Covenant:

Explores how we can be restored to wholeness of life in troubling times. Studying the likes of Job, exilic prophets, Daniel and Revelation we learn how to recover the freedom and joy of the Christian life.
